I have an 88 firebird gta and I was looking at some vacuum lines (pcv etc.) and I noticed these two valves (see the image I attached). The one that is plugged right now I know is for the crankcase vent hose for the pcv system but I can't seem to find what the open one underneath it is for. Is it a vacuum line? I have two vac hoses from the purge canister that I need to attach to a vacuum (purge vac and vac control), can I tee them and put them there?

Re: What is this Valve for?
I'm guessing it would help you a lot if if took a bunch of detailed under hood & engine pictures of a 7k mile bone stock original 1988 GTA. If I can remember it I'll try to do it tomorrow. Or they might be pictures of a 1989 GTA. I'm installing driver & passenger side molded PCV & CCV hoses, PCV valve and valve cover grommets, setting the minimum idle air bleed adjustment and TPS voltage, setting the base timing, and installing a 4 wire heated O2 sensor.
I'm probably going to do it tomorrow, but I'm lazy and I might not and if it's hotter than a well digger's azz I for sure ain't.
