Windshield Washer Pump
Windshield Washer Pump
Is there a fuse for the windshield washer pump? My pump is not working, and I don't see any fuse labeled for it. I don't want to pull the pump if it is only a fuse.

I don't believe so. I think it runs off a common fuse for something else.
I've gone through a number of the ones that mount on the wiper motor. Something just causes them to burn out (probably sucking too much air). I've found so far that the cheap aftermarket on eI bought at Trak Auto (Anco brand I think) has lasted far longer than the GM originals.

I've replaced both the front and rear pumps (rear wipper).

I lived in blacksburg VA at the time, using the washer constantly was not a problem.
Neither was engine heat.
The pump simply lost its prime too easily and as a result had to work too hard to get the fluid pumping back through it.
