Help identifying part on throttle body

hello all. My engine has been running extremely rough and hesitating on acceleration. I see this wire/hose is disconnected and I was wondering if this could be the cause and if so what it’s called to replace it. The connector piece is on the throttle body and it ends up behind the EGR valve. Thanks!

Re: Help identifying part on throttle body

With that block at the throttle body disconnected there might be a massive vacuum leak.

no I unplugged it to make the post. It was previously plugged in. One of the wires is severed though.

that sucks, literally! Can use dorman 5/32 hardline or attach with a rubber vacuum line.

this might be a dumb question, but how does it attach? Does it just slide in there or is there something else I have to do

It’s a friction fit or can adhere with rtv or glue
