SOLVED: 88 Iroc won’t start after installing center console.
I have been redoing the interior in my 88 Iroc. Auto 5.7. It started/ran fine until a couple of hours ago. I was putting the center console back in and when I was finished, it won’t start. The key turns, all electronics run, but I get no crank/no start. What did I do to this crazy thing?!

Check the switch and connector on the side of your shifter.

check the neutral safety switch under the center console. the yellow and purple ones specifically are the neutral safety wires. maybe it got unplugged??

I’m an idiot. You guys are right, it was the neutral safety switch. I must have snagged it somehow putting the console back in. Fired right up, thank you!
