checking for code and fans come on
88 iroc 305 g92. 83,000 orig miles. fans not coming on starts running hot. chk engine litht on . i use paper clip to read code 32. when i put paper clip in the obd1 port the fans under hood come on??
is that normal. just have to figure out why there not coming on while running.
im buying this car from a lady across the street from me. her husband passed away and shes selling things. cars been in the yard under a car cover for years, hadnt been started in aover a year. fired right up.

probably a egr temp switch or solenoid is faulty
