Switching to Carb on a 350

Well I am still looking into what carb I would like to get. I have a good friend who does a lot of drag racing and he said I need the Holley 4160 750 cfm. That one sounds really good for the price however what is the thought on The HOLLEY STREET AVENGER 770cfm would that be too much? Or how about an Edelbrock? 750 with an electric choke? My sig will tell you what I have. This is posted on the Carb board but I am not getting much. What have you guys used.

Thanks for the opinions

In my experience with 350/carb motors i found it was ok to run a larger holley carb (750) and usually wouldn't experience any tuning problems or bog off the line...
The edelbrock 750, however, acted way to big even with my cam and headers and had to be replaced with a 600cfm model to be reasonable enough for the street.

Whatever you decide to get, pay the extra bucks for the
electric choke - it's really worth it.
