AFPR settings
I just bought an AFPR from Crane. I need to know the optimal pressure setting. I have only done the free mods. (ie gutted airbox). I will be adding SLP headers, Carsound Cat, and Random Technology exhaust soon. The cat and RT exhaust is going on next week. Thanks for your help.

You'l need to play with it till it's just rite but on my 305 tpi with the free mods 52psi "felt" the best I never diled ti in at a track thou
Make sure you disconnect the vacume line and plug it when you are adjusting the presser

I thought 52psi was a little too high, especially on a stock fuel pump. I have set it to 47-48psi. I runs great. I'll have to wait until I get it dynoed again to really dial it in and see the real change that it made but for now it is working pretty good. For those out there looking to purchase an AFPR, just make your own. They are really not that much different than the stock regulator. I highly recommend changing to an adjustable regulator though. They really seem to make a differance.
