Car is Running good now. Thanks guys
I wrote a post on red hot headers and I found my problem. The timing was WAY Advance and my valves were messed up. I ended up doing the valves the real way and adjusting them while the car was running. Car runs good now. o2 volts are between 090 and 790 and the bl's are 127/127 127/128. all I need is a custom prom now, and tighten up the exhaust. This is my first ever head cam swap and I think it went well
Mkos,
That's the cool thing about this board. There is a lot of expertise and experience represented by all our members. I'm sure you've bailed out a few of them yourself, and will in the future.
As for the custom EPROM, I'm by no means an expert, but if the integrator numbers are running that close to 128, what do you want to change? That's about as perfect as you can get. I suppose there is always room for improvement, but it isn't completely out of control at whatever speed and load you took the readings. The spark and fuel curves may give you a little more at the upper RPM end, but you could end up erasing and burning a lot of PROMs to improve those readings. Like I said, I'm no expert, but there is a board full of them on the other parts of the site.
Yes, it sounds like the swap went very well.

Nonsense!! Perfection is unattainable with a stock PROM!! (
Vader) ..... You may find that you don't like the idle or TCC settings or something like that with your new setup, and those things can be changed in the PROM as well...... Just throwin that out there for ya to think about.....

Jeff, ever notice how fanatical we Prom Guys are? Almost like a cult.
Mkos, as Jeff pointed out, your fuel sounds pretty darn close. As Matt pointed out, there are a lot of other things that you can "tune" to your preference. Also, spark is the key to power. If you are planning on learning on burning your own, then definitely do so. But if you plan on buying one, then I would stay put as Jeff suggested. Without "hands-on" access to your car, it is unlikely an "ordered" eprom will be able to do much better.
