1966 Pontiac 326

Edelbrock RPM manifold #EDL-2156

Edelbrock 600 CFM carb Electric Choke #EDL-1604

I'm looking into a cam shaft now. I might just get the Edelbrock RPM one with .470 lifts and 231 int and 240 duration.

What do you guys think?

OR, to save like $100 bucks summit has one: .465 .488 ex and 114 duration.

What will happen with the WAY WAY WAY different durations? More midrange tourque? 231 and 240 compared to 114.

Take care,
Jon

114* sounds more like a LSA (Lobe Separation Angle) Not a duration. I don't think it is the duration of the cam, considering it has that much lift and I've never heard of a cam that small. Check the numbers again. Also, is the duration for that RPM cam adv. or @.050?
