How does this cam sound and what carb would be good???

Here is the cam specs:
CAM INT .310, LIFT EXH .325, VALVE INT .465, LIFT EXH .488, LOBE INT 107,
SAE DURATION= 298 INT, 304 EXH, .050 DURATION= 224 INT, 234 EXH

The cam is in a 70's 350 w/ 4-bolt mains and is punched 30 over.
The engine is going into a 86 camaro z-28 w/ a 3.73 posi and 5 speed. How does the cam sound for this setup? I am using the edelbrock rpm air gap intake as well. Also I was thinking with going with a edelbrock 750 cfm carb? How does this sound? any suggestions? any input would be great..

thanks a lot,

Dan

Yeah, sounds about right. I'm getting the Comp Magnum cam that has a .470 lift and 270 duration. I've heard bad things about Crane so be careful. I'm building up my 70's (LM1) 350 on the tech/Gen engine board if you'd like to check it out.

Thanks for the replys guys..Someone had told me that there might not be enough vaccum for the power brakes with this cam..Is this true? If it is what can I do to possibly fix the problem?

Matt I will be checking out your 350 and good luck on it..

thanks,

Dan

You have a stick car so you can raise the idle to get more vaccum,
or get a vaccum canister if you still think you don`t have enough.
You should be running about 10:1 compression with that cam
