Starting And Fuel Problem Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes this problem seems to be quite persistant. I try to go out in the morning and start it up. then it will crank over as long as the battery lasts without starting. but if I go out and play with the schroder valve on the fuel rail some air will come out like its pressurising air in the fuel rail. but if i turn it on and of just to run the pump and release the air and then crank it over it will start.

I do not understand please help me!!!!!!!!!!!

Eric,

You should get your hands on a fuel pressure gauge to help diagnose this situation. It's possible you have a fuel pump that is leaking back through its check valves, and you should test the pressure drop over time to help determine this.

Yes, I seen it many times.

If you have a starting problem or a fuel problem, the first thing to check is the fuel pressure.
