Part Number For K&N Filter That Goes Right On TB

Hey guys,

Could someone point me in the right direction for the part number of the K&N Throttle Body Filter that bolts right on the Throttle Body?

It's not for my Camaros it's for my 85 Corvette, but you guys always help me out!

I'm switching to the TB Filter cuz there is a MSD 6AL where my old air box used to be

The TB is a Ling. 58MM if that makes a difference, but I think it's the same size air inlet adapter as stock..

Thanks in advance!

Bill

I searched in my Jeg's catalog and the only one I found is labeled "cone air filter". The part numbers are "599-RC-5000 and 599-RC-5050". Air flow 600cfm, 1000cfm respectively. The reading states that it fits directly on the throttle body on speed density systems and will not fit LT1's. You could check their site with the numbers above to get a look at them yourself. Other mail order companies might have the same but at different prices and shipping costs. Check them out. Good luck.

I have had both (and returned both). The RC-5050 is way too large to fit any thirdgen, don't waste your time buying it and taking it back. I am pretty sure that the RC-5000 will fit your Camaro--it fit onto the TB of my 91 Formula, but hit the hood when I closed it. Since the Camaro has a little more hood clearance, it should fit your car.
