Service Manual

How much do these usually go for?

GM service manual. Used condition or new.

I found a used one for 40$, before I go paying, I'd like to know if there is cheaper places to get them.

Not chiltons or haynes, but the actual GM service manual... Helms Maybe?

Thanks.

Sorry to bump this already back up.. but have to buy tomorrow. So no waiting time.

Vader, I know you mentioned talking about getting one of these manuals for the display on how to test sensors. What does the average go for... used or new.

Before I buy, I don't want to feel like I could have found a better one for cheaper or something.

I have seen them used at swap meets for as low as $25. The cheapest that I have found new was $70 (I think) through www.helminc.com

The factory service manuals are around $100 new. Most of the time we're forced to buy used because they don't print them anymore.
I picked up mine from e-bay for $25 which I conceder a great deal. $40 doesn't sound bad either. It's worth it!
