What should I look for...
Whats up guys? I am a regular at Camaroz28.com, but I have a couple of questoins about an 88 Z28 I found. I have not gotten to look at the car yet, but what should I look for. Also, are there any problem areas with this year Z? I know the car is a 305 and is a 5 speed. It has about 120,000 miles on it, I know that is low for a car that old, but the guy says it runs very strong. Thanks for any info.

Welcome aboard,
The only bad thing that I can think of is, with the T5 when you start to doing some mods, the tranny isn't that strong.

welcome,
Sorry mark but I gotta disagree. I know of people running 350 HP/Tq through the t-5s. The mustang t-5s for those years weren't much different and look at some of the things they are doing. Of course your going to want to replace things such as the pressure plate, clutch, tranny oil and what not. What is the price for that Z???
