Help removing fuel pump ***. from tank

I need some help on how to remove this assembly from the tank. The more detail the better, from what I can see there are 3 little tabs that need to get bent down to rotate the locking collar, I did that but I still can't turn it...

Thanks

you shouldn't have to bend anything, if i remember correctly. when i took mine out, i used a flathead screwdriver and pushed on each tab on the locking collar one at a time ( pushed one, it twisted a little, then went to another opposite of it, pushed that one, etc.). or, you could go to a dealer or something, and buy a tool made specifaically for removing the locking collar.
