What are the symptoms of a fuel pump that is going out or goes out completely (besides the fact that you can't drive the car)Thanks

 

if its on its way out (depending on how bad it is) you will usually feel it starving for fuel at upper rpms , again if its real bad it could be through your whole rpm range .

if its completly out the car wont run .

also check to see if the digaprham (sp?) is leaking (obviously a puddle of gas underneath your car is not good)

do you have an electric or mechanical fuel pump ? also how many gph is it (if its an aftermarket pump) ?
