how can i find out what series carrior i have(orginal carrior, new one not in yet). is there some number on the rear or old carrior. i bought a 3 series carrior. i need to know by tommorrow. sorry for the short notice. any input would be great.

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
If the gears are original, then figure out the ratio. The # of teeth are stamped on each gear; divide the larger by the smaller, round to 2 decimal places. If the ratio is 3.08 or smaller, you have 2-series gears & carrier. If 3.23 or higher, you have 3-series.
