Retro-fit SOLID roller cam

I just accquired a 350 block, I think its out of a 74 Blazer. Anyways, I was thinking of going with a retro-fit roller cam, and was thinking using a solid cam instead of hydrolic, along with roller rockers, that this would be the ****. With every thing roller, it shouldn't need constand adjusting like the roller cams of yester-years.

Is my theory ok? Any problems with noise and knock sensors?

You only need solids for sky-high RPMs - like above 6500. But, solids and knock sensors don't get along. If you're staying with TPI, solids don't make any sense at all.
