just pulled a wonderbar today and am running into some trouble fitting it on my car. it seems on mine the lower radiator hose is in the way. the car i pulled it from had no engine or radiator, so i didnt see how it was on it. i know these things only came on IROCs, and mine is a 91 firbird V6, so could this be a V6 problem? guys, i want info, descriptions, pics....please hurry, i need to bolt up my sway bar again within the hour.

 

Would it work if the bottom part of the lower radiator hose was extended more? You may have to flush your cooling system and replace the hose, your thermostat, and switch to dexcool because of that wonderbar. Try a hose from a late 80s z28 and see if it works.

 

ummm...mine fit fine even with the 454 in there. Are you sure you have it on the right way? reversing it might bring it closer to the rad cradle. Been a while since i looked at mine.

 

Gee, Rob, you are crazy i dont think the hose with your 454 would be routed the same as the one in my 191. plus, if i put it the other way, the steering components are in the way!

 

actually, my rad hose is the proper 85 305 hose. I just had to trim it to fit because it would rub the balancer. My hose is close but not touching. Could just be a slight difference in the 2.8 hose design. Sorry i couldn't help more.
