Doesnt a mechanical pump pump in pulses? I'd think that with no restriction (solenoid open) your flow wouldnt be consistent. Going into a carb like they usually do this isnt a problem cuase you have the fuel bowl there. I'd use an electric pump to feed the fuel solenoid. Take this with a grain of salt tho, cause i dont have any experience with nitrous.
