On TPI engines what is a "egr solenoid" and what is its purpose?After going over my vacuum lines, I noticed it was broken almost in half. I was stunned because My diagnostic test at Diagnostic Specialist over looked it and my ecm didnt throw a "check engine light". Does it affect drivabilty and does it contribute to overheating problems. Any theory on that and its relation to the egr valve. Thanks.
