Hey I need help now desperately when I try to start my car I don’t here the fuel pump buzz. I checked the fuel pressure and it is zero. When I tried to apply power directly to G of the aldl I heard a relay clicking but still no fuel pressure. I just had the fuel pump changed. I am stuck at work and I need to go home. Please some one help me
Desperately, Camarochic
P.S My car is a 1986 camaro, TPI, 305, Iroc-z

it's not a matter of not knowing, it's a matter of not being able to fix it from here.

The relay is under the hood by the brake booster, you might want to make sure the wires are all connected, they like to melt the insulation and expose the wires. Should be the one closest to the front of the car of the 3 relays mounted to the firewall. You could also try giving the gas tank a smack with something like a piece of wood, not enough to dent it but enough to ring its bell. This will sometimes jar a bad pump or loose connection enough to get it to work, but trust me it usually wont last long in that case (like 1/8 mile is what I have seen... twice.)

There is also a in line fuse in a single wire up by the battery. I spent a couple moons replacing the fuel pump, filter and relay. Turned out it was that damn little fuse. Hope this helps..

rocco-That's funny i spent about two days chasing that same little fuse, only thing is i knew it was there somewhere when i looked at the wiring diagram but couldn't find it because it was it the capsule. I would check that fuse also, can't hurt and good luck, i know what it is like to have a no start
