well me and my friend were looking at Gtechs on ebay, and found one for 90 bucks,, so we bought it....well it came in yesterday, and my friend..which has a 94 LS integra 4 banger manual, stuck it in his car to run. well he ended up running a 14.24@104mph according to the gtech. My other friend has a 91 VW passat 4 banger manual, and he ran a 16.4@84mph. Then i go with my 84 TA with the stock LG4 V8 auto, and ran a 16.9@83mph. Now im not surprised about my time, i know my cars not fast....YET....,,but anyways...The passat, i can SMOKE that car anyday, and hes still running a better time than me. And the Integra..this is a WEIRD car...the LS is like the lowest one you can get, but supposebly the best engine in the series of them. hes only got intake,exhaust, and a stage 2 clutch in it..plus all the rice crap (no back seats, hub cap wheels without the caps)..but his time for thar car boggles my mind....i just dont get it,, were guessing he has a factory freak car or something like that. That thing shoould only be running 15's!...well anyway im putting a new engine in my car, and it HAS to beat this integra, iv got to much money and work goin into it for it to lose. Im serious, ill put it into a tree if i lose. here is the low down on the motor. 4 bolt main block, bored .04 over, ballanced crank, mild cam, performer intake, hedman hedders, bigger heads. The guy thats building it says itll have 300-325 at the flywheel. and im guessing the torque will be well in the 400's.......the only problem i have is gonna be my rearend. ITs the stock open 3.23 rearend. so traction might be a issue. also the car doesnot have T-Tops for the weight issue. waht times would you guys expect my car to run? will i be able to beat this integra??

G-Tech times are only valid on an absolutely flat road and can only be compared to other cars' times when they are run on the same road. Also, the G-Tech must be set up correctly.

 

id say a 16.9 is accurate for a 84TA same road that the integra ran on..and hoe do you set it up correctly?
