What's the difference?

On the tech data page, i was looking at the stats for different years. I'm looking at buying an 89 IROC 350, and i'm trying to find out how much horsepower it will have. On the tech page, under 89, for the L93, there's too different stats:

89 IROC
Formula
Trans Am A4 L98 V8 9.3:1 5.7 (350) 230@4400 330@3200 TPI ---- ---- 2.77* ----

89 IROC
Formula
Trans Am A4 L98 V8 9.3:1 5.7 (350) 240@4400 345@3200 TPI ---- ---- ---- 3.27*

what's the difference? how do i know if mine is the 230 or 240 HP car?

It's L98 not 93.. I believe the 10 extra HP is if you have the dual cat setup.

if the L98 was ordered with the G92 option, you got the dual cat setup (+10 hp) and the 3.27 rear axle ratio. look on the top of your center consol for RPO code G92......

thanks, yeah the L93 was a typo, the L98 is one of my favorite engines. don't think i'm stupid... hehe.

that's what my only guess was, the dual cat set up. When i go back tomorrow i'll check the RPOs.

Thanks guys
