Ignition question
I want ot upgrade my ignition system in my 87 IROC-Z 305. What
I would like to do is swap in a dis system from msd or someone. My question is does anyone know if this is possible. Any info would be appreciated.:hail:

Engine: 4.4L N62B44
Transmission: 6spd auto
Axle/Gears: Rotating
on a stock FI motor getting a ignition is not going to do you much good being that the FI will atomize your fuel well and most ignitions after they quit using a points system are very good at getting a spark off
the only way I could see going to a high output ignition system is high comp/ boosted/n2o/heavy mods/carb/rotary(though it is iffy there)
though I do not think you have to worry about the last one
other then that you don't need to worry about it I would say
money would be better spend getting everything tuned up and fully working right
then going and getting a full exhaust for your car
