Ever had fuel lines rust through?

I was just wondering, cause i was under the car the other day, and a in a couple spots the fuel lines looked quite rusty. 13 Illinois winters will do that poor car. Anyway, has anyone ever had them rust through and start leaking? I'm sure its possible even with the TBI's fairly low pressure fuel system. Should I be concerned about this or just let it go until/unless it starts leaking?

That happened to the fuel lines in my 81 Blazer K5. I could se through them and I still wonder how the fuel got to the carb.

I replaced both lines (from and to the fuel cell).
