Should I get an adjustable torque arm or some slicks?

O.K. I have sfc's, Lakewood control arms, Spohn relocation brackets, a poly torque arm mount and drag radials. Well, I am having a hard time hooking on the street. I have over 500 hp with N2O. I can hook just on the motor but not on the bottle. Should I just get a set of better tires such as slicks or should I get a torque arm? The torque arm is the only thing that I haven't done to the suspension.

My opinion on the torque arm is that it won't help a great deal since I already have a poly mount. Also, I have the relocation brackets with the lca's mounted in the lowest setting. Should I put it in the upper hole since my car isn't lowered?

What tires should I use? quick times, et streets, or wrinkle walls? I am going to Bowling Green April 6th so I need to get some things ordered.

What kind of rear are you running? If you're still running the 10-bolt, getting into slicks is right about where you're gonna start shredding things. Especially at 500hp.

I'd get the torque arm unless you have a good rear-end. In that case, I'd get the slicks.

The adjustable torque arm can help by adjusting your pinion angle to a better setting for a drag launch.

I want to be able to use nitrous in somewhere in first gear. If I can hook it then I'll be hard to beat out of the hole.

I am using a 10 bolt rear with a brand new Auburn posi and richmond 3.73's.

I found a set of 26X10.5 et streets that will fit 16" rims in a Jegs catalog. Do you all think that it will hit the lip of the wheel well when I launch?
