not sure about GTA

not sure if this is even the right board but.. what does the GTA stand for on firebirds. might be a stupid question but im not sure...

Let's get the spelling right. It's Gran Turismo Americano. If you go to www.gtasourcepage.com you can find out all about the car. Otherwise the GTA is an Argentinian stock car competition similar to NASCAR. In the 24hrs of Daytona there is a class called the AGT which stands for American Grand Touring (in spanish: Gran Turismo Americano).
So there you have it. BTW, the only thing golden is the wheels.
