can someone explain to me how to use a vacuum guage??

I think my car may be missing and was told I can use a vacum guage to check for it, but I'm not sure how to hook it up or use it. How much does a vacuum guage usually cost, and is there any type of special vacuum guage or is there only one type?

I think most vacuum gauges are the same. Just hook up the vaccum hose to a good vacuum outlet usually your plenum. Your vacuum gauge will tell alot about whats going on. It will flucuate and do all sorts of things. Usually there is a guide with your vacuum gauge that will tell you what to look for when diagnosing your problem. Other than that thats about it. Happy trails dude. Later man.

They have them at Sears, as well as parts stores, even ones like Auto Zone and such places... go check them out.
