Need help with Wiring diagrams for ignition module (TPI Remote Coil)
I am trying to manually fire my old remote mount style coil from my tpi system using an older (working) module that I have. the module has 2 connectors:
one with 2 prongs (square wave from pickup I am assuming) and one with 4 prongs (power, ground, advance and tach i am assuming.
Does anyone have the wiring diagrams for this module? I really need to know where to power it from in the 4 prong connection. and I also need to know if it would be a 12V connection or less to power the module.
thanks for words but I would love to have pictures as well.
(why do I get the feeling that Vader will be the first reply...

I'm confused; you're changing the module to one with different pins, just to use a two-wire spark coil instead of the dual-connector 4-wire GM coil?

Im sorry -- I need to clarify.
I am using the coil to do something totally not on my car. I am using it to create a sparc in a small combustion tube. this is for a home designed pulse detonation engine.
problem is I am having trouble building circuits to fire the GM coil from a function generator (square wave signal)
The part someone may be able to help me with is to tell me (or show) what the connections are in the 88 remote mount style ignition module. I know the 2 pin connection is to the coil but the 4 pin connection I am not sure. which one of these 4 pins is ground and which is power? How many volts should I power the module with?
