Rocker arms

Rocker arms

ok i built a motor for my car, and it devoloped a knock, its top end though, how much play should the rocker arms have, i mean cause i can wiggle them all and they make alot of noise when doing so, except for the ones that are opened, i need to know asap thanks

They shouldn't have any up and down play at all. They should have minimal side to side play. If you used non-self aligning rocker arms you need to use guideplates.

they are stock rockers, so i dont think i need guide plates
