1.6 rockers on stock heads?

Can I go to 1.6 roller tip rockers on my stock '87 305 heads? ( they will have some mild work done to them) The cam will be a Powermax 2030. I E-Mailed Crane 2 days ago, but no response.

TA,

That cam (.423"/446", 204°/214°, 110° LSA) will net right at .475" lift on the exhaust side with 1.6:1 rockers. The rockers will fit, but you may have some interference problems with the valve guide bosses, and should check for clearance.

I presume you are changing valve springs, so that would be a good time to check the guide boss height.
