I was wondering what the ideal advance curve would be for a mechanical advance distributor? I have it right now so maximum advance comes in at 3200 RPM, but is this ideal? I searched and couldn't find anything that specifically says "get maximum advance by 3000" or anything like that but I'm guessing that this would be pretty good... Am I on the right track?

Hey buddy....it's prett much trail & error IMO....
Alot of cars seem to like med/med springs with stock weights...
I say that's a good starting point for you
It does depend on a lot of things including engine specs, rear gears, temperature ect....
