I pay $1.61 for premium (91). It is $1.51 for 89 and $1.41 for 87. I get this from the Chevron station down the street from me.

Good gosh !!!!!!!!! I thought I had it expensive again , I paid $1.19 for 87 this morning .I go to school an hour away from where I live , 87 at the same station ( Chevron) was $1.29 ....When gas starts rising though , it really saves me to watch which place is cheaper .Its wierd sometimes it will be cheaper an hour from me (Hammond, La ) or it maybe more expensive that Baton Rouge, La ) gas .

The lowest it got down here within the last year was just a few months ago , it was like 90 cents for 87 . The highest I have ever paid in Louisiana (Baton Rouge) was like $1.70 for 87

Nate
a few months ago when I bought gas and it was under a dollor , I was not paying attention to how much I was paying before I started pumping , when I quit pumping and filled up my car for like 10 bucks , I could not honestly figure out why my fill-up from almost empty was so cheap at first then I looked at the sign and was like DOH Gas was costing me only like 25 bucks a month for a little while , it was nice !

Well being the only Canadian at this topic,
In Olds, Alberta, Canada we're paying about $0.67 a liter for regular and $0.77 For Premium

I pay around 1.38 for 92 octane premium here.

Last December I paid .83 a gallon for 87 octane in Bakersfield. Some of the locals said they have some of the cheapest gas in the US.

Europeans pay some ridiculous prices for gas.

$1.24 for 87 octane. At least that was this morning. Give it a few hours. We may end up with a 15 cent increase by the end of the day.

Besides, the news says that ketucky is a dumping ground for bad gas. Which means we pay high prices for **** gas!

I was 10 cents cheaper for 85 a few weeks back but 87 seems to stick in the high $1.30's lower $1.40's and 91 high $1.40's low $1.50's.

Tax is 40.2 cent per gallon.

You people who were paying a buck a gallon suck!!!!! Just kidding.

Here in Detroit it costs:

$1.33 Unleaded 87

$1.43 Unleaded MidGrade 89

$1.53 Unleaded Premium 93

$1.63 Sunoco 94 Ultra

$3.79 Sunoco Leaded 110 Turbo Blue ™

Do a search on homemade octane booster formula on TurboBuick
You can mix Toulene (sp?) or Xylene with unleaded 93 and make your own unleaded race gas :hail:

Lots of guys around here make their own when running big NOS or turbo setups and computer control.

Last night when I went to gas, Sunoco 93 octane cost $1.41 per gallon.

It's usually cheaper; that's outrageous for this area.

I assume it'll climb to about $1.50 then drop.

And it takes like a million years for a fossil to become a fuel right? So whut, animals only died a million years ago, nothing after that? WTF???!!!! Some one is just pullin our chains.

Well I've come to 2 conclusions

1. I'm kinda glad that the T/A is sitting dormant (With just my drive to work I have to filler her at least 2x a week)

2. I pays in many ways to be a U.S. American (Don wanna offend any Mexicans or Canadians who do too live in the americas)

Another Canadian perspective...

Regular (87 octane) $.739/litre = $2.80/gallon
Midgrade (89 octane) $.789/litre = $2.99/gallon
Supreme (92 octane) $.839/litre = $3.18/gallon

As you can see, we are getting screwed! I'd just about kill to be paying less than $2 for a gallon of supreme (high octane)!

Eric

Hey guys a friend of my family drives for a Fuel Rig Company out of Jersey. The prices are supposed to go up again next week. All the gas stations are buying the gas up right now cuz they want to get it while its "cheap" SOOO start fillup up some cans and saving it. By the way Gas up here in Rochester is now up to $1.44 $1.47 $1.55

in tucson, where i live,it is around $1.30 i believe for regular 87,then around $1.50-$1.60 for premium(93).I think it is strange that you can go to a Diamond Shamrock or Chevron and pay 1.30 a gallon for gas, then go to the Chevron a couple miles a way and pay $1.40.You would think that all the Chevrons, etc. would be the same price anywhere in town...just my 2 cents.

One more thing...we were actually below a dollar for 87 and 89 octane a couple of months ago, then the price creeped right back up again, although it isnt as bad as it used to be.

The gas prices around Tucson are changed for location. Around Grant/Stone you'll pay 4-5 cents cheaper than around Pantano/Speedway. And out here in Rita Ranch the price is just absurd because there's only one station. It's 7 cents cheaper to drive to Harrison/Golf Links.

why do they change it for different location then?i can understand if theres only one gas station-but near where i live,at cortaro and thornydale, near bashas-there are 3 gas station,a diamond shamrock, circle k,and i believe the other is a texaco-they are all different prices and are right across from each other?i just think someones messing with us too.

When they're right across from each other, the prices set by the "regional whatever" are modified a little bit for competition with the other gas stations. Out here in Rita ranch, there's no competition, so they can hike the price up a little more.

It's all business.

Hm, beats me. I stopped looking at the prices; too damn depressing. Stupid "look-how-cool-I-am" SUV's... drinking all our gas. (sigh)

Let me clarify- those with SUV's that actually haul things or tow things or otherwise USE them are excepted from my rant. But c'mon, a Lincoln Navigator with a big v8? When's that thing going to tow anything? A Lexus SUV? Geez.

Skunk was right about the UK:
~79 pence per litre (over one US Dollar per litre). Though at least that is for 95 octane.

97 octane is around 10% more expensive and pretty widely available. At least that will help when running high boost!
