What is a 71 charger worth?

My dad is thinking of selling one of our old junk cars and has asked me how much he should ask for it. It is a 1971 Charger, with a 318. It doesn't run. It's been sitting for years. It is brown. Not terribly rusty, but it does have rust. It has a black vinyl covered top. The interior is ok. All the parts are there/not stripped down or anything. We also have a bunch of 360's in other vehicles that would go with it if wanted.

What would you ask for this?

I was thinking of a couple hundred bux, like 300, or more. But, I don't know if that is greedy.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Jeremy

1971 charger $300 bux. I'd be all over that if i hadn't bought another car to fix up. If the body isn't too rusty that car could bring you some $$$$

Its worth more

you could part it out and make bank on ebay, things like front grills if its good shape will bring you 300 bones. If it has rallye gauges 75 to 150, tail lights assy 100-200, interior pieces $$$$ trim BIG $$$$ remember 71s bring in the most money for parts with that style of Charger.

Oh Mopars rock but so does 3rd gens

if its all there- i dont know an exact figure but i would pay at least 1500 bucks for it.Since it is complete, that makes it worth more, and having a vinyl roof.A 360 would definetely be an incentive.
