electric fan question

If I were to go to the track or something and wanted to run my fan at all times, couldnt I just unplug the wire going to the A/C compressor and turn the A/C on? IS this safe to do?

I don't think it would work. The fan should only cut in when the AC pressure gets too high. Since the AC clutch is unplugged, the AC isn't pumping and there's no pressure building up.

It would be easier to just install a manual fan stitch. I'm sure there's something in the tech article section about doing it.
