bets mods for tpi 305
bets mods for tpi 305
I am in the market for either a new 305 or 350 or just rebuild my L98. The problem i have is money. I really cant go crazy. I was thinking of getting a new 305 this way my t-5 that i have lying in my shed would fit no problem without blowing gears. I had the t-5 on the l98 for about 6 months but then i blew 1st and 2nd syncros so i pulled it out. If i do go with the 305 what are some good mods to pull me up into the L98 power range wihtout buring a whole in my pocket or should i just get a new 350 or rebuild mine?

I would just save up for a 350. It costs a lot just to get the 305 going really good. I know I am saving for a 350.

Get full exhaust first, headers and a cat-back. Any other mod won't benefit without a free flowing exhaust. Plus they'll bolt up to either motor. I'd recommend the Hooker cat-back by the way, sound clip is in the sig.
