I just got done racing a big block malibu from a roll, I pulled on him decently and he turned off. after I slowed down I notice a GT going the opposite way go past me, then flip a U turn to chase me. I've seen this kid around lots. It's actually his dad's but he gets to drive it sometimes, and when he does, he's reckless and showboating all the time. he basically thinks he's the king of the road when he's driving it.
So I was more than pleased to see he wanted some. I slow down and keep it in 2nd waiting for him, he pulls up going at least 10km faster than me, looks over with the most arrogant face I have ever seen and proceeds to floor it, I was ready and floor it myself, since he was already going 10-15km faster from the start, he stayed with me for a second or so, then into 3rd I went and I pulled HARD. 3 seconds later I was 5 cars up. It was a slaughter.

My friend in the passenger seat said he could see his smile fade as he realized he was about to lose, I could hear him powershift in desperation slamming back on the shifter with all his strength.
didn't do him any good, he got raped. hopefully his cockyness will get turned down a notch. but probably not. next time I pull up beside him... I'll have my cutout OPEN. :lala:

I phoned comp cams and they told me the 262 made more torque and the same HP on their dynos. But I'm seeing guys with the 268's making more power so I'm starting to wish I went with a bigger cam. the 262 is basically an LT1 cam with a few degrees more duration too. so a cam swap might be in order shortly..

I'm just wondering what excuse he came up with to tell his buddies when I pulled away. he had 2 other guys with him.
