a few months ago i raced a 94-95 rx-7 turbo in my 86 IROC w/ 305 tpi, my mods then were a crane 423/446 compu cam, hooker super comp exhaust system, k&ns, ported plenum and removed MAF screens, we went from a roll and it was SOOOO close it was the closest race i have ever been in, any way i barely i mean BARELY pulled ever so slighty , we raced from about 35 to 70 and i pulled about 6 inches on him, now before anybody asks me YES it was a turbo, i could hear the frigging thing blowing off, but yeah i beat him, needless to say that made me happy since then i have added Edelbrock headers, so hopefully that 5.0 that beat me by half a car last weekend will be seeing my quarter panel next weekend

Headers will really help with those mods.

RX-7s are fast cars....i give them their due. Altho i will bet you 1 million i can out accerate any Rx-7 to 55 mph.................on my CR...
