First official kill of the summer

Beautiful nite tonite, so me and my buddy went crusin around the suburbs (amherst and cheektowaga for those of you familiar with the buffalo area). So we were drivin around amherst, and a kid w/his buddy pull up to me in some mazda import..the lite turns green..i smoked em..he was miles behind me..but i wasnt sure if he wanted to go. So we drove some more..just about to go home and this kid in a z34 lumina (kid said he had a twin cam..do they come with that?)pulls up next to me in cheektowaga on a very cop-patroled road. He asks "what u got in that a 305" i was like yea but it's still damn fast. I took off and smoked him. Next lite..says not bad..we'll really go this time at this light. Mind you late at nite you see cops often, due to the shopping area and doughnut stores. But i think **** it why not..break torque it..launch at like 1300 rpm..i had him by half a car length at 50 when i let off..i had him..this kid tho must have been lookin to get killed tho..kept on it till what had to have been 90 mph. THe speed limit on the road is 40..so i thought he'd have gotten the point when i had him by half a lenth at 50. Newho..the kid was kewl tho not some kinda punk..and i beeped bye and they waved at the next lite because i was goin the other way.

Z34 Luminas were 3.4L V6 twin cam motors (DOHC). the 5speed versions were rated at 210 hp

Those twin cam 3.4's were bad A$$ at first. The engine designers had them up around 285hp but the tranny guys could not get an auto tranny to hold that much HP and TQ. They then had to detune the engine...I would love to get one of those engines and tune it back up and throw it into my cavalier The 2700lbs plus the 300hp would be cool!

my 305 is basically stock..rebuilt alternator up to 150 amps now, got a flowmaster exhaust that the previous owner put on it..not sure if its just the muffler tho or if its a cat back..soon as i get paid prolly gonna get a set of headers off this dude for 150 used and a k&n air filter..maybe some nice chrome exhaust tips...other than that she's stock..for the moment ...muhaha..really tho..i wanna get some better plugs, wires, an ignition box maybe..gotta see how the $ flow is..cuz im a broke @$$ college student

I have a 92 Pontiac Grand prix s.e. with the 3.4 d.o.h.c. engine in it,they're a pretty strong running motor,Especially at higher r.p.m.'s.It's to bad they don't make any high performance parts for them
