busy night

got bored around 11pm last night and went hunting, there is a nice intersection in broomfield (128th and huron) where its easy to find a race so i drove back and forth it a few times.
Kills-new hyundai sonata, fiero, dodge ram, minivan
losses-a newer cobra
suprises-new cavalier, 94 or so stang gt ragtop
The kills were all no problem for the t/a and as for that cavalier, i was suprised, i ended up beating her by like a fender and a door. The gt convertable was more of just some keepup, he was infront of me and was only able to pull away a little, i kept with him till he slowed at about 100mph(not safe, i know)

And for my loss, i pulled up at the red light slowly to a growling newer mustang, but it didnt say gt on the back (just mustang) so my first impression was v6 with maricle exaust, but then i get next to him and see the cobra logo. I got nervous but said what the hey and we excanged revs a few times (his sounded better
) then took off on green, i stayed with him off the line but then did he ever pull, by about 60 he had a few lengths on me, oh well, a race is a race, even if you loose.

i'm guessing these races were in the 84 t/a? That sounds like a nasty little Cavalier. Did he start going and you not realize it, or did you start at the same time? Good kills though. Happy hunting .

ya, i went in the 84 t/a, and the cavalier was a chic driving so i didnt think she would go, but right after she launched, i gunned it, i would have done better but at the top of second gear the motor bogged and shifted early, oh well
