Who would win between these two?
A 1992 Chevy Camaro Z-28 with the 350 TPI and a 2002 Cavalier LS Sport, My buddy has the Camaro and I can almost gauruntee the Camaro will spank the Crapalier so bad

Camaro tail lights all the way. Won't even be close. I'm assuming both vehicles are practically stock, ofcourse. And as far as I know, the Cavalier would need something like nitrous or forced induction.

There are very few front wheel drive GM models that would be able to challenge that Camaro in stock form (though I don't know if they'd beat it), and that's the Cadilac STS and ETC with the 300 hp Northstar and the Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and Buick Regal GS with the Supercharged 3800. Everything else is too heavy or underpowered.


Come to think of it, if the 1/4 times for your 2.8 V-6 Camaro are correct, you'd beat the Cavalier with that.

I figured I would post it, Just to see what other ppl thought, Aren't the 92 Z28's the fastest stock third gens? And yes the 1/4 times are right for my V6, I already beat a 2000 Z24 by about 4 or 5 car lengths

Oh the Cavalier that my buddy is facing has the 2.2 ECOTEC "Twin Cam" engine, I think that car has 140 hp, Either way, Cavy's are junk

Actually, I think the 300hp STS would kill a 92 Z. Don't bring up 1/4 times to argue, but I've seen it on the street. They're quite a machine. But, a cavalier. Your wasting webspace even asking.

I wouldn't think so. The TTA and Firehawk's are faster, but that's been said. As far as I know, the engines (l98s) in the 90s and 91s were the same as the ones in 92. No hp or torque improvements were made during those years. So considering weight is the same on the cars the 90s, 91s, and 92s would be the same. Right?

I have made more mods since then, Performance Cam, Hooker headers, Accel 300 wires, Bosch Platinum 4 Plugs, Accel Super Coil, Hi Performance Cap And Rotor. I ran a 16.7 in the rain and the 15.1 was a nice clear day about 65 degrees out.

I love when people list those as mods. First off, platinum doesn't conduct as well as copper, just lasts longer. Then that 4 spark thing is BS. You're just pissing your money away on those.

no they arent junk, just not as fast as an iroc or gta.. in my 93 2.2l cavalier i was pumping out 190hp from the front wheels with a 14.2 sec 1/4 time..if i can find my race ticket ill show ya..but i lost my book to the cav when i smashed it(head on accident broad hit me like i wasnt even there) anyways here is the pic of her..

Im sure hes going to argue that he got those 1/4 times before the 7th but its only been recently (as in the 15th of the month)that hes had the 15.1/15.5 1/4 times (as opposed to the 16.75)in his sig.

Im sure he'll tell us that he ran his amazing 15.1 or 15.5 (or whatever the wheel of fortune is telling him today) before 5/31 but that still won't explain why it was only on july 15 that he changed his 1/4 time from 16.75 to 15.5. Or he'll spit out something truely dumb like " I ran 15.1/15.5 with the rod nock,you ***."
