Just got back from racing another Audi TT. He came up behind me and we just kind of drove next to each other for awhile on a 3 lane road. He had some chrome rims and those tires with the yellow stripes on the treads. I knew what the outcome was going to be so I didn't even start anything, but I think he thought he had a chance b/c my car looks stock. After about a mile, he gives it the jerk forward and slow down. I rev back to let him know I'm game. So we approach a red light and he gets in front of me (I let him) b/c there are 2 cars in each of the left hand lanes.
Light turns green and he peels out from the light and I give it part throttle so as not to hit his rear bumper. As soon as I safely cleared the 2 cars in the left lanes, I get in the middle lane and FLY past him. We hit another red light.
This time, I'm in the right hand lane and he is in the middle, we switched. The light turns green and I give it half throttle off the line so my tires don't go up in smoke. I hear his tires screeching. I had him by about 1/2 car off the line at 1/2 throttle. At about 3500 rpm in 1st, I give it some more gas and jump about 2 cars ahead. I hit 2nd gear and get up to about 60 MPH and look back and he is at least 8 cars behind. I hit the brakes and we slow to the next light. He asks if I had a 5.7L Tuned Port Injection, I said yes, but it's been modified. He said his was stock. He was cool about it, we were both smiles.

 

Nice kill. My setup is going to look similar to yours sometime in the future, whenever it gets done Glad I have something to look forward to.
