Okay so I goto Route 66 (horrible ****ty track for being so popular) and I'm staging and I hook up with some people, this guy and this super nice WS6, cammed, intake, gears, and auto. Heres the story (me left him right):

- - - - - Okay so in order to heat the Nittos I heard to do a 2nd gear clutch dump at 4k, never do that again, it spun my clutch and fried 1/2 of it. The car didn't move at all in first gear, horrible!! Oh well saw his taillights the whole time, cool guy tho and this WS6 sounded MEAN!!!!!
Two hours later, I met up with this guy I met in tech spec, so I was talking to him cuz he had a LT1 and I wanted a piece of a LT1 since all those races with em, I wanted proof! So I was like, lets do this. He has "corvette cam", mini ram, 2800 Stall, and gears. His is an auto, great I think, NO CHANCE. Me right.

- - - - - I had him the first few moments, but damn it I spun again, christ a built LT1 with a 2800 stall and no suspension mods beats a stock 305 5spd with Nittos in the 60', *** I couldnt figure this track or combo out!!! P.S. The homemade ram air is worth atleast 2mph.
Two hours after that, theres this huge old *** car (I didn't bother to look) that asks me to run him since I'm running 14s, *** this thing is CAMMING!!! I'm talking like atleast .550 lift huge lope, it was loud too! K I figure oh well with the way the 305's been performing, I cant expect much neway. Me Right.

I wanted to hot lap the car to see if that would help, so I did, I ran against this suspensioned crazy T/A, it was a 3rd gen. He had a lot done in suspension, check it out. Me left.

Needless to say this guy just went, and when he went he went. Props to 5.0Mustang for his dad running a 13.2 @ 101mph, i can believe it now
Thats some crazy ****, he hooked and didnt stop...never once looked back, oh well thats it for me, may be the end of the Iroc-Z, I may save up for a LS1...why I ran these times is cause I think two of my sparkplugs wire got burnt on the headers, but I can't explain why the trap speed was so low, maybe the fuel pressure was too high??? Not sure, but I'm sick of the lack of performance, the T5 doesn't last long and I'm starting to get aggarvated with stick, how I can keep up with LT1s and LS1s in first on the street then on the track is beyond me, I don't lie about my races which makes me even more frustrated that I can do it on the street but not the track, maybe the clocks get me scared hehehehehehe.

I figured I'd post the times since I got a lot of hype for my 305, turns out it was all crud, my fastest ET was bone stock...14.4 @ 94mph w/2.0 60ft, that was w/o headers this and that, I don't think it likes mods. hehe
