Well, I live in a dorm now and have no access to my firebird. Theres this kid who "explained" the fast and furious to everyone, how it was done and such. Well hes talking about his corvette on how fast it was. I proposed the following, too bad you sold it, I'd have raced you for $40. What does he say, "There's no way my car would lose to you, if it did I'd sell it." Okay, Im intrigued, so I go on. What was in it? It was a 76 corvette. He originally told me it was an original engine car, but he didnt remember. Did I mention this new discussion was in front of half my floor? Some girl told me I may have competition. Thats it, its ***** elimination time.

"What motor does it have?"
"It has 380 horsepower."
"Really, I thought 76 vette's had 175 hp."
"Its not the original motor."
"How many cubic inches?"
"I dont know. It has NAWS, I put it in myself."
"Really, what kind of carb does it have?"
"I dont remember."
"What transmision does it have?"
"Six speed."
"Really, what kind?"
"It's the stock one."
"Woah, thats interesting considering GM didnt come out with a 6 speed until at least 1991."
Knowing I caught him BSing, he then said maybe Id give him a race.

Later, he heard my mother has a 69 convertible vette, and said that was his dream car and hed pay anything for it. So I say I want an 81 Firebird with a 502 and a blower. Well what a coincidence, thats what he says his uncle has.

LOL.......I know a lot of guys like that....they think the magic word is "naaawwwws", as long as their car has that, everything's gravy. But more often than not, they can't answer simple questions about their ride.

 

my dumb friend has a civic and he thought since he added a carbon aluminum wing and some stickers plus a carbon hood and a cold air aem intake that he could take my l69. i told him i could stay in 1st all the way and still beat him

wow, i got a kid like that, if anyone wants to read the me vs. barney post... u can get the story from there, only his car is somewhat fast... Its a 95 GT...but i belive hes runnin enuff NAWS "to blow the welds on the intake", i think its a mid 15 sec car.... plus he cant drive the 5spd... whata dumbass nice verbal kill... put that in ur sig... one verbal kill

 

84 ta u hate morons i just hate people who drive topazs i kno im starting something but its true its not just camaro boi there was this guy who was revving his engine like crazy at me because he was weaving in and out of traffic in the streets. and so there was this van in front of him and when he tried to cut me off i just moved up so that he couldnt pass the van and when he hit the brakes i did too. so that got him real mad so when the traffic cleared we where at a red and hes bouncing his rev limiter or he just felt like wasting his gas and just kept it just off redline. any way he dumps his clutch at somewhere above 4500 and he expects to get traction. i just feather my clutch at 1500 with no slip and just punch it when i get up to about 30 in 1st and pop 2nd and i see him still trying to get traction so i let go and all of a sudden the *** hole flies by and almost hits the van that he was trying to pass at first. omg wat a dumsh!t

 

I know a kid like that at my school. He has a 1991 or so EuroSport Lumina, 2 dr. He thinks that his car is MaD pImPiN. He has these ridiculous hood scoops on his hood, not functional, he has a double decker wing on it, he has a far can, a bad attempt at a tint in the back window, he has neons, you can even see the bulbs in daylight. But the worst thing is he has defiled the SS namesake. He has Lumina SS in these past on decals on the doors of his car. But dont forget he is running NAAAWWWWSSSS on his car. I believe that someone said he was running a a 100 shot Ooohhh yeah, you can run a 100 shot on a stock 3.1 engine. I doubt he can spray above 50, and even spraying at 50 I think his engine is still liable to blow.
