ok my car weighs about 3550 and it goes 83 miles an hour in the 1/8 mile. but its has bone stock wore slap out suspension on a 8 inch street tire (cooper cobra) and a 3.08 gear. the 60ft was like 2.5 and 2.7. With a 3.73 and get it to hook do yall think i can put it in the 7's. oh by the way it went 83mph but only a 9.0 so u can see its so lazy off the line but after u start twistin on it it pulls like a raped ape.

 

That is pretty impressive, what is your combo! 83 mph with traction would be very low 13s in the 1/4!

 

Sound like you have a pretty good running car. You can tell the car is very lazy on the bottom but that should be a different story with a set of 3.73 or 4.10 gear. It should pick up alot. I don't think you will have a problem running in the 7's. How does the car act on the street. Does it pull hard? Is it an auto or 5 speed? With a gear and a set of sticky tire I don't think 7's will be a problem. I bet you don't have any problems taking care of the mustangs in your home town.
