Street racing carnage.
Tonight I am changing ex girlfreinds Geo metro tranny.I got nominated because well I am the only person who can really do it.She has a lot of ***** freinds.And they make me so mad.And when the time came to do it.Well none of them would.(Plus I still like her)
Anyway to the good part.I am under the car on a creeper and one of my buddies walks in.He just got done doing a thunderbird super coupe motor/turbo/all the electrics and crap into an 85 ranger.He is telling me how good it runs.So I decide to get my butt kicked and I break out the cavalier.We pull out onto the road and line up.My other freind with a stock ranger flashes his lights.Well I got smoked(He wasn't lieing for a change)He said he took down his buddies moded nova with a 350 in it today to.
Well we pull up to a light.(or course we catch it red)He decides to kill me again.The light turns green and his truck jerks then just revs.He shattered his clutch.And he said it was having a hard time getting into gear.(Bad synchro's)Luckily his buddies dad owns a towing service and came and got his truck on his roll back.
That doesn't make up for the car load of hot girls laughing at us pushing his truck out of the road!And oh yeah I just now got the tranny out.I have been working on it since 5 o clock.One more thing.Whenever you have a bunch of freinds over to have them help.Invite some that know what there doing and don't just sit there and talk!

i think the thunderbird supercoupe was the v6 supercharged, and the thunderbird turbo coupe was of coarse a turbocharged 4 banger.
my brother has a turbo coupe and his friend put that engine / 5 speed tranny into a ranger, but the wiring still needs help..

Opps sorry for the mix up.It is a turbo coupe then.He bought the ranger for like nothing.I know he traded a f-250 for it.I am not sure if there was money involved.Anyway.One of his buddies wrecked the thunderbird.It got totally smoked in the rear.The ranger has a nice straight body.The motor knocked though.He rebuilt the ranger's 2.3 and used all the intake and turbo stuff out of the turbo coupe.He said the wiring was the hardest part of the whole deal.
He used to have another ranger with a 302 and it was quick.We could never get it to hook up.He sold it.This thing hooks up and goes!I am not sure on his gear ratio.I think one time he told me 3.08's.So if he goes to a lower gear this thing is going to be a real sleeper.
