85 T/A vs. 96 TSI talon

me and my friends were out cruising on night me in my 85 T/A and my friends in their vettes a 91 and 89 and we see this talon coming up behind us with a r i c e d out saturn with him and the talon decides that he is going to mess with the 91 vette so my friend revs it and has about quater throttle and the talon is on it and a car pulls out in front of the vette so he slows down and the talon says he won. and he posted about it and we saw the post so we found him again the next night and we said WTF about the post and were going to solve this so they went twice from a stop and the vette won by about 6 lengths then they went from a roll and the vette won by 4 lengths. then they followed us back to a parking lot and were all cool and everything and they asked what my car ran and i told them 15.1 so then like two nights later we saw them again and instead of going after the vettes he came for me and we got a light and it turned green and i took off i put about 2.5 cars on him then he started to catch up to where it was like half a car length then i had to shut down because of a red light. and the talon bitched that i shut down to early and i went back and measured the distance that we raced and we raced a little over a half a mile well over a quater. but he wanted a rematch so we were like fine so like 2 weeks later we went back out but the roads were still a little wet and we saidthat it would be just a practice run for fun and we all agreed so we went i spun through first and second and he spun through first and he won by about 2 cars and he saying its tied 1-1 and talking all kinds of **** now saying it was dry and how he can beat me now wet or dry well i cant wait to see him next race to break the tie because now i am nitrous equipped with a 75-125 shot and getting drag radials hes going to have his doors blown off and a big disappointment coming. sorry so long.

what site did he post his story on?i'd be intersted in seeing it.was this talon an auto?im hoping so cause if he cant handily hand you your ***,then theres either something wrong with the driver or the car, cause he should be atleast mid 14's.stockers run high 14's,low 15's.was it an AWD?if so then i can see him hangin with you, since those versions arent as quick up at speed.anyways i think you 2 need to find a place to race where there arent any obstructions so no one has a reason to BS anyone because of a red light or a car pulling out.

this Talon guy has no idea whats coming for him when the track reopens. not only did he completely forget you put a 100 shot on your car, but he seems to think hes gonna get the best times out of his car the first time EVER racing at the track! its gona be funny!

BTW- the car in question is a 96 TSI 5 speed FWD.

And this is why I think racing sucks. Everytime someone loses there is always an excuse. I didnt hook up, my car wasnt running right or something. Yesterday I got my butt kicked by a 97 z28, but it wasnt like I didnt see it coming. Im not flaming anyone at all I just wanted to point out that seemingly everytime someone loses there is always a reason other then "my car is slower then yours."

I think he lost because he sucked at driving and the newer gen Talons aren't that fast. The first gens were the fastest, and those were in the low 15s usually (at my track). I don't see any problem, and with that 100 shot, he should be 13s (when the track opens up.)!
