...ignorant kids

theres some kids in my autobody class that have terrible taste in cars. we were working on a 1994 mitsubishi expo, and they kept insisting that its a nice car. "i would throw some 20" rims on it, and a ground effects kit...it even has a sunroof, that would look hot." they werent even joking around, they were completely serious, and tried to tell me that theyd rather have that than my 86 trans am. then they got into this bs about one of the kids cousin with a 96 toyota tercel with a BMW front end conversion with 18" rims, and how its all fast and that it would beat my trans am. no matter what u do it still has a 1.6 liter, whats the deal with kids like this? just because it looks kinda like a BMW doesnt mean its fast or handles like one. and how does a cheap japanese mini suv look nicer than a 3rd gen? is it rap music videos? and why would u spend so much money on TRYING to make a cheap, ugly and slow car be nicer when u can spend very little and buy a cheap nice looking fast 3rd gen f-body? even my winter beater- a 91 mustang 4 banger looks nicer and is faster than those.

I don't think this is on topic, maybe the appearance board? Either way where's the street racing content?
