Ok on the way home i am pulling up to a light behind a late model probe gt (v6 thinks he is a bad ***) and the lincoln version of the expedition (navigator i think). Well the kid in the gt kept creeping up and such and i was just hopeing he wasn't going to race the Lard assed suv. Well he did. In fact the SUV guy actually seemed to be racing too (way too much rev for him not to be). Well i put my foot about 1/2-3/4 of the way down and follow the probe. He pulls a bit away from me, but not much and i was behind him so big whoop, and i proceeded to walk away from the Yuppie, my dick is bigger than yours suv. Anyway i pull up to a light after the gt turned for gas. Now this light is ruffly 200-300ft away from the turn to get on to 53 southbound from dundee in the palatine area. The light goes green and i go easy, and the damned idiot in the suv floors it, so i go 3/4 and walk away untill my turn. Man it is sad when a slow, poorly geared, and hardly trying L03 can take you that easy.

 

but you got to watch out now.. everyone is turboing this, SC'in that, V10'n this, V-12'n that in SUV's today. the era of sports cars are gone... bring in the sport-truck-cross-over-awd-like-a-car-but-a-bed-like-a-truck-or-huge-engine SUV/T/X/Whatever the next letter is...

Ya, um i would be afraid to push something with 500hp and a center of gravity above my head. Suv's aren't dangerous if you drive them with some respect, but with all the power that keeps getting added, people start driveing like a sports car. I mean its bad enough that most are advertised with "car like ride" people don't even feel the differance. Just because it has a v8 with lots of power does not mean its a performance vehicle. Whoops, ranting too much. I just wish people would figure out what is really fast and what isn't.
